About MES Environmental
MES Environmental is a wholly owned subsidiary of CNIM UK Limited. CNIM is a French industrial engineering contractor and equipment manufacturer which operates on a worldwide basis in the environment, energy, defence and high technology sectors.
MES Environmental has over 20 years experience operating and maintaining energy from waste on behalf of local authorities and private investment companies with waste plants located in Dudley, Wolverhampton and Stoke.
Waste that is brought into their facilities is incinerated to generate electricity, typically between 800-1300 homes can be powered by each tonne of waste incinerated. Furthermore, ferrous scrap metal is recovered from the incineration process and the bottom ash undergoes a further recycling process to obtain more ferrous and non-ferrous metals with the residue of the bottom ash being used in Civil Construction projects. Therefore, for every tonne of waste 956Kg (96.5%) can be utilised in either energy production, metal recovery or aggregate building material.
